Manual Arts High School brought excitement to campus with its Spring Carnival. Manual Arts High School, with the help of City Year, hosted a vibrant carnival in the Senior Quad during lunch, offering a fun-filled afternoon for students. The quad was transformed into a lively carnival, featuring a range of exciting activities like sack races, a Fear Factor challenge, egg hunts, ring toss, water pong, and a basketball shootout. Students eagerly participated in the friendly competition, enjoying the thrill of winning prizes, including plush toys, snacks, and City Year-branded items. The photo booth, complete with fun props, allowed everyone to capture the fun moments with their friends. With delicious food like cotton candy and chips available, the carnival had something for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the games and prizes, the event created a strong sense of community and school spirit. City Year volunteers worked hard to organize the event, ensuring that all students felt welcome and included in the festivities. Whether participating in the activities or cheering on friends, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, excitement, and a shared sense of camaraderie. The carnival was a reminder of how important it is to have fun and build connections with peers, leaving everyone excited for future events and the continued spirit of togetherness at Manual Arts High School.
