Manual Arts High School counselors are allowing students to select their own class for the next semester in the fall of 2025! MAHS provides a variety of courses from Ap English to cooking classes!. This is the first time in years where students were allowed to choose the classes they will like to take in MAHS history. Also while choosing classes students had to choose a 5 electives Journalism, drawing, yearbook, JROTC,Band, Ap classes, leadership. Service learning (only seniors with 2.5 GPA) etc.  Students have responded well to this new edition, with many filling out the Google form for next semester.

To further gain insight on this sudden, yet pleasant, edition, we have spoken to Mr.Nwosu, one of the many school counselors responsible for this. According to Mr.Nwosu, students are given this chance every year, only this time it is actively promoted as counselors believe is easier for both parties to prevent course switching last minute and pleasing students with their own select of courses overall. The google form is due March 8th, but as of March 20th, you can still select your courses!
