On January 7th,  2025 Pasadena, hundreds of families lost their homes due the Eaton fire. The fire affected at least a  half a dozen schools by damaging and destroying buildings. One of our staff members at Manual Arts was affected by the Eaton fire. Mr.Obi s’ house, cars, and precious items were destroyed in that fire. A Go-Fund-Me was created to help with the damages and start rebuilding.

With the help of people who supported with donations, 30 thousand dollars has been raised.  which would go into helping them with expenses for the things they lost. Mr.Obi is still not able to return home ,but with the help they received he and his family are able to start the rebuilding process. Acknowledging that the entire neighborhood has been affected, they are now able to access the home and get some of the stuff left behind. He stated that he is very grateful for the generosity and kindness of the people that helped during this difficult time. He and his entire family are very grateful for the donations they received, and for the essential items provided to them.
