The College Center at Manual Arts has shifted its focus , encouraging seniors to fill their FAFSA as the deadline approaches. According to the Department of Education , the official deadline to file in California is June 30th,2024. The priority deadline has been extended from March 2nd to April 2nd 2024. Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the largest provider of financial aid for college in the U.S. It has many benefits such as covering exprenses for tuition and fees, housing,food,books, school supplies, and transportation. Submitting an application is free and takes less than an hour to complete and about 3 days to get sent to the school. Some requirements are providing personal and tax information. U.S citizen or eligible noncitizen, or eligible college/career/trade school.
