The district has carried out various programs and established numerous ways to promote physical and mental well-being  for the school community and those in the nearby neighborhood. With Wellness Centers as  One of the cornerstones of LAUSD’s health and wellness initiatives is the establishment of wellness centers in schools. Sources say, These centers serve as safe spaces for students, providing access to mental health services and resources. By offering counseling, support, and referrals, the wellness centers address students’ emotional and mental health needs  ultimately enhancing their overall well-being. LAUSD has put one health and wellness center  here at Manual Arts High School for any students, staff or parent who feels stuck or is going through something  and needs help. LAUSD equips students with the tools to lead healthy lives, promoting behaviors such as physical activity, nutrition, and stress management because of the modern economic workload. LAUSD’s Healthy Program is a valuable resource that supports the health and well-being of students and families. This program leverages funding to provide health services, including medical, dental, and mental health care. By ensuring access to these services LAUSD removes barriers to healthcare and promotes equity enabling students to keep on going  academically a spokesperson said.
